1. Service Acknowledgment

By signing this waiver, the customer acknowledges that they are using the wash and fold laundry service provided by The Laundry Basket (“the Company”) and agrees to the following terms and conditions.

2. Liability Disclaimer

The Company will exercise reasonable care in cleaning and handling all garments and items. The Company is not responsible for:

• Items left in pockets or among clothing (e.g., pens, lighters, money, keys)

• Normal wear and tear or pre-existing damage or weaknesses

• Damage to garments with pre-existing weaknesses, loose threads, missing buttons, or items lost or damaged due to manufacturer defects or improper labeling of care instructions.

3. Lost or Damaged Items

Any claims for lost or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of order pickup or delivery.

The Company’s liability is limited to the cost of the service for the affected item, not to exceed its current replacement value.

4. Pickup & Delivery Terms

The customer must ensure laundry is securely packed for pickup (e.g., in a bag or basket).

The Company is not responsible for laundry left unattended for pickup or after delivery.

Missed deliveries may result in additional fees.

Any changes to pickup or delivery schedules must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

5. Allergies & Special Instructions

The customer is responsible for informing the Company in writing of any allergies to detergents, fabric softeners, or other chemicals, as well as any special care instructions.

6. Unclaimed Laundry

Laundry not picked up or accepted upon delivery within 30 days of completion may be donated or discarded at the Company’s discretion.

7. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

The customer releases and discharges the Company, its employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or losses arising from the wash and fold service, except in cases of proven negligence.

By signing below, the customer acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to this waiver
